As I interpreted it, that jingoistic slur indicated that somehow, our moral fiber was &quot;too good&quot; to become one of &quot;them&quot;, and that we would rather die than change our morality to match those nasty &quot;Commies.&quot;

And today, would we rather be &quot;Oppressor&quot; than &quot;threatened&quot;?
&quot;Better Distrust than Be Just?&quot;
Yeah, it just doesn&#039;t really work with this particular situation.

I think people worry so much about things over which they have no control that they forget themselves.</description>
