Caroline nominated for an Annie!

Our friend Caroline Attia has been nominated for an Annie, the Oscar of animation, for her PSA video Sarah, a commercial for EndGunViolence.com. The video is extremely poignant, though it doesn’t even begin to showcase all of her talent. You can see her other videos at carolineattia.com or a reel of some of her corporate work at her employer Z Animation.
I knew her career had been going gangbusters, but even so this is pretty amazing. The winners will be announced on January 30. Go Caroline!

Nicely done, very scary film folks! Unfortunately, most gun deaths in New York come as a result of two or three drug dealers shooting at each other and murdering innocent bystanders. I can never understand why anyone besides a criminal and a police officer or a second lieutenant leading his squad out of a trench in WWI would ever need a pistol.
