Empire Hotel to open rooftop bar on April 30
I’ve updated our comprehensive list of NYC Rooftop bars to include the soon-to-open rooftop lounge at the Empire Hotel (which is right by Lincoln Center).
I don’t usually find myself in that neighborhood, but maybe I will now.
I”ll gladly open the band aid box, break out the chest hair and share a Mohito in the Lincoln Center district with the blue-haired old ladies and members-of-the-tribe who make “Miami North” their home.

You don’t find yourself in the vicinity of Lincoln Center! How is it possible that an intellectual, bon vivant, like yourself doesn’t get to Lincoln Center more often. Too much time boozing and not enough time for culture. You and your colleagues should get over to the Philharmonic or the Ballet or the Opera before the season ends so you can report to your readers!

Just to clarify: Josh isn’t making it to Lincoln Center that often. I was just there on Monday for Satyagraha and I will be back there in 2 weeks for La Fille du Régiment.
