Clearly It’s A Sea Pig
Posted by Matt Cipriano | 44 Comments
Well, that is one of the many creatures found off the coast of Antarctica during a survey done by a team of New Zealand scientists during the beginning of this year.
The sea pig (in her hand on the right) is a member of the sea cucumber family and is just one of the “Giant, Unknown Animals Found Off Antarctica.” Another find may be a totally new species, the Hydroid.
During the two month excursion the scientists collect more than 30,000 different sea-creatures. a bunch of them new. National Geographic (or NatGeo for those in the know) has some beautiful images of some of the finds.

NatGeo? Sounds like a compact econocar that runs on cow farts.
Methinks those pictures of scientists extracting and fondling confused undersea creatures are more disturbing than beautiful.

I’m a little concerned for the creatures they collected. They cannot be headed to a happy place…

July 2nd, 2009 @
Don’t let the Japanese see it! They will EAT it!!!

The Sea pig looks very strange indeed but what I fine even more unbelievable is just how far down the scale of ability our society has fallen in the area of acceptable communication. Communication technology is a wonderful thing. The number of people that you can reach and the speed at which you can do so is incredible. The down side to that is far too many people are eager if not just willing to let so many people read how ignorant they are in such a short time. English teachers must quake in their boots to read such a dirth of poor communication skills. I’m embarrassed of my generation.

Dude it’s neither a pig or what ever the hell you people think it is, and how could it be fake they sure sailed all the way to Antarctica to fake a new species of sea cucumber’s. Further note the Japanese sure eat strange things, so who knows maybe in 3 years time they will find a way to eat it then make it a product for world wide sale. Fran R people don’t have to type in proper grammar or English, they can do what they want. Also me and you are kinda the same your angered by your generation and I hate the human species. Pathetic pond scum thinking they run everything because they have explosives and other weapons, and the funny thing about it is you really don’t need a weapon they’re so soft a simple stick can kill one. It’s time for a higher race of beings to exterminate these stupid animals you call human.

I was looking for a new facebook picture–don’t ask why–and I google image searched “creepy digimon,” just to be different–and this was the second thing that popped up. Seriously, I thought it was someone being funny and took apart and stitched together an uncooked chicken… But that’s neat, I guess. It’s cool to think about all the things that have gone unnoticed–and will continue to do so, long after we’re gone. Makes me wonder–who’s going to notice us? We’re so insignificant outside of ourselves. Back to the pig thing… it IS creepy, but kinda cool…
