We all know that when you are unhappy or stressed there is nothing that makes you feel better then loads of ice cream.

That is also the concept that the Dr. Whippy ice cream machine works off of. The machine asks you a number of questions and analyzes the stress in your voice and your responses. Based on the voice analysis the machine determines how stressed or unhappy you are. The unhappier you are able to make yourself sound, the more ice cream the machine dispenses, or as they put it:

Employing voice stress analysis of the user’s answers to specific questions, varying degrees of unhappiness are measured and the counteractive quantity of ice cream is dispensed: The more unhappy you are, the more ice cream you need.
