When you are headed to someone’s house for dinner or a party and they ask you to pick up a bottle of wine (or you decide to do so on your own as a nice guest), do you find yourself standing in front of a rack of wine pondering which wine goes best with soup? Scared of relying on the opinion of the 22 year old stock boy?

Well, now you eliminate some of the guess work before you leave the house.

Snooth is a search directory that allows you to search for wines based on a number of criteria and key words. Claiming to have the worlds most comprehensive database and with over 1.5 million wine reviews and ratings, chances are Snooth will be able to help you pick a wine for your next dinner function. Snooth also allows you to set limitations on your search by price, vintage, type region and more.

While it would be nice to see Snooth on a cell phone, it is still currently only over the internet and, of course, the chances of your wine shop having the wine you are recommended is always a crap shoot. On the other hand you can also order wine from the Snooth website if you are able to plan that far in advance.
