Computer Frustration

So we jump from tossing cell phones around for fun to throwing a computer out the window out of frustration.
On Saturday night the police in Berlin got a call reporting a disturbance to the peace. They rode out to discover a smashed computer on a sidewalk. When they questioned the 51 year old involved with the incident he said that he had gotten so frustrated with his computer that he threw it out the window.
No formal charges were pressed against him, however he was made to clean up the broken machine. A police spokesperson sympathized with the man, saying “Who hasn’t felt like doing that?”
There are two articles I found on it, one from Reuters and the other from TG Daily

This reminds me of something I once read about—”damage therapy” that is evidently popular in Spain. It’s just what it sounds like—you work out your issues by smashing cars, computers, whatever. I’m gonna make that my “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” blog post next week.

[...] I had one of those days last week where technology wasn’t on my side. My computer was making noises more fitting to an airplane. My phone was acting possessed. I’d been working all day on color correcting photos only to find that the files were, for whatever reason, unreadable. I wanted to throw something out the window, but I didn’t want to pay to replace whatever I threw out the window. (There’s a great post about this subject on one of my favorite blogs, American Madness.) [...]
