Mail Art
Here’s one for all you artsy types. This is Similar to the Post Crossing thing I posted the other day. In fact it was because of the comment in that one that I discovered the MailArt website.
From what I understand, it is similar to the Post Crossing Project, but a bit more in line as to what I was suggesting in my post on it. The concept of mail art essentially (from what I understand) is basically disseminating your artwork in the non-traditional method of just sending it through the mail. Kind of adds another dimension to the art itself. And yes, I am aware I am doing a piss poor job in explaining this.
I recommend checking out the website and I invited Manekineko from MailArt.org to comment here and hopefully shed a bit more light on Mail Art.
