Green Again

Back to being Green- related to the other post from today there was an ad on the front webpage of the NY Times Technology section for BP stating “BP invested $30 Billion in U.S. energy supplies over the last five years. It’s a start.” Despite being completely and totally vague about what this actually means, they at least present the idea that they are aware that their is a problem which they claim they are working on. (unfortunately I lost the ad before I got a chance to click on it so I can’t even comment on where their ad leads)
Also there is was this editorial yesterday in the Fashion & style section called “The Age of Dissonance: Global Yawning,” Though in another advertising note- On the webpage for this article about how everyone calls for being Greener, but doesn’t really follow through, the banner ad at the top is for the Lexus 2008 RX, a pretty, silver SUV. With its 2.5 Liter V6 engine, we can all rest assured it is doing its part for the environment.
